December 6th Vigil: National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women in Canada
In honour of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women in Canada, the Status of Women Council will be hosting a December 6th vigil.
The special event will pay tribute to the 14 women that lost their lives during the Montréal massacre 29 years ago.
In addition, the Council will acknowledge the countless women and girls that are victims of violence.
Please join us at the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre on Thursday, December 6th from 7pm-8pm to remember those we have lost and to declare an end to gender-based violence.
